I just simply HEART music. Blues is basically my "thang." But theres no doubt that I love rock music, bluegrass, classic, pop, R&B and rap :).
Acoustic guitar is what I run (mostly inside my heart), but I mostly do go on the road playing the Electric G' cause it's totally matching the gift God has graciously given me. I'm a down-banger Rockstar at heart! (bwang-bwang!)
I love infusing new sounds and noises and making it my own. I love untuned strings with a tuned voice! :) It's a bittersweet sound. (Aromatherapy to my ears!) I know I am not the finest quality musician you'll ever find out on the street market, but my heart is BIG for music (whether secular or Christian). If I find a sweet original sound, you'll probably see me copying it and making it my own. Yes, I'm the biggest music- copy-cater you'll ever find in this industry :).
I'm not a signed musician/artist. I just love to do what I do musically. I'm not a good singer (maybe you've noticed already), but I like to sing on and off. Most of the time, singing is not what I can do best (though I wish it was!).
I've been playing the guitar since the 7th grade. I do read music, write tabs and all that other jazzy stuff.
Unfortunately, the guitar wasn't my first love. My first instrument was thee Cornet (mini-version of the Trumpet), then I upgraded to the Trumpet. I then tried the guitar (fell "in love" with it), then the piano, and the violin. I'm not really good at any of these instruments! But I like playing them. :)
